PIOLINK Application Switch 1700,3000,4000

Main Functions and benefits
L7 Application Switching
L7 Application Switching fully inspects the Internet traffic passing
through an Application switch to IP packet data area nd sends the traffic to
appropriate server/application resource or blocks.
Therefore, it enables to configure the computerized environment for the support
of customer's business in the best level.
Qos
QoS restricts the incoming traffic at a certain degree
depending on types such as port, application and content. As
a result, it can allocate bandwidth by following the service priority and can
restrict network share by unimportant traffic such as chatting. In addition,
this function can prevent the situation that, like DoS/DDoS, traffic exceedingly
concentrated on a server hindering the server's normal service.
L4 Switching : VPN/Firewall
Load Balancing, Server Load Balancing. Redirection etc
When many servers operate the same application on network, L4 Switching in the
front end of the servers controls session flow to evenly distribute traffic
to each server. As a result, it maximizes the performance, the connection and
restitution power of each server or the application.
With TCP/UDP port information, it can classify traffic and send/block the traffic to/from servers or applications to handle the traffic. As a result, it enables to provide differential service according to the traffic type, construct server farm for a specific application service and block unnecessary application.
High Availability & Health Check
High Availability & Health Check duplicates itself
by configuring Failover and continuously monitors the availability of the server,
application and content linked with PIOLINK Application Switch. As a result,
it realizes ceaseless and failure-free service by only connecting new session
to normal servers in operating (in case of abnormal server, it retries to connect
when the availability is secured.)
In addition, it supports the extension of server/system without service stop,
placing in their front end.
L7 Security
L7 Security inspects packet patterns and passes/blocks
them. As a result, it prevents the situation that the efficiency of overall
network resources gets severely deteriorated because of the packet with a specific
pattern such as Nimda virus, Codered worm, SQL slammer worm and Mydoom. This
function is built in PIOLINK Application Switch and purchasable as a product
called Advanced Security (Packet Filter) separately
